8 Changes.

Since I got a cases of the realsies yesterday and went a little emo on you all, I thought I would elaborate on what kind of changes this Little Woman is making in regards picking up the broken pieces of me.

So without further adieu...
1. Quit Smoking
I am/was a smoker and it is something that needs/needed to be changed drastically. I started smoking as a teenager and it is hands down the habit I wish I never picked up. It seriously is an addiction and I didn't really realize how hard it would be to quit. It needs to happen though. Not only is it draining my bank account, but it is also affecting my health and with wanting to start a family, it is something I need to get away from....for good.

2. Get Healthy
So vague right? But I don't want to just say, I want to lose X amount of pounds and I'll be all happy and healthy. Ka-boom. No, I don't want it to work like that. I know that no matter how much weight I lose, I'm a girl, and I will never be happy. What I want to embrace though, is a healthy lifestyle. Sure I intend and could benefit from shedding a couple pounds but I want to become more active and make better eating choices that I can stick with for the long term.

3. Gussy Myself Up
You know that point in a relationship where you become 'comfortable' and start not putting that much effort into your appearance or the way you look? No, you're all still sexy ladies...okay nevermind. But seriously....I became that girl and I need to change. I want to start putting on makeup more, styling my hair in anything other then a bun, and getting a sense of style and owning it. I want to look sexy as a confident boost for myself and want my husband to not be able to keep his hands off of me. Meowww.

4. Manage My Finances Better
It's not like they're bad now, but because of naive and foolish decisions in my late teens/early twenties, I have some issues that need to be addressed and out of my hair once and for all. I want to build up my credit and have a score and report I can be 'proud' of. This can be alternately titled 10 Ways of Being A Grownup. (hmmm....new post perhaps?)

5. Dance More
I used to lurvvvveeeee to dance. I would be dancing up a storm and kicking up the dust whenever the opportunity arose. I want to get into that more. I love it for the exercise but let's call a spade a spade and admit that I enjoy anytime I can shake my ass. In the wise words of Shakira, these hips don't lie. ; )

6. Write More
I'm not the best writer nor do I have the best grammar but this is also a creative outlet, I would love to get back into. I used to write stories and in diaries as a kid (and really a little later than that...) and even won a few writing assignments in my day (hard to believe right?). I might not get all my thoughts and everything out on here but I want to doodle and just let the ink flow from my pen or words from my fingers as I type. It's freeing for me to get some things out, anywhere.

7. Organize My Life
Another general swoop but then let me explain none the less. I want to organize my car, my house, my pictures, my paperwork and pretty much anything underneath the sun that I could organize. I've been feeling disorganized all across the board and it is a irritating feeling to have, so it's time to clean and unclutter house. I blame the move for it, but now it's time to suck it up and start getting through all of these boxes.

8. Have More Sex
OMG! I mentioned S-E-X on the B-L-O-G.
Ring the alarms!!
Haha.
I know this is a relatively private topic and one that is not discussed much in the blog world but considering that half the blogworld is preggers, I see no reason why any of you should balk at such a subject. (*coughIknowyoubeeziesarebumpingugliestoocough*) But yes, I love sex. I love sex with my husband. Sex makes me happy. Happy equals a better me. Amirite?!? Win win....and I know B is not complaining. ; )

I'm sure there is more but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

When Chocolate & Marshmallows Make Love

And, no that is not a euphemism for Big Man and me. ; )

I'm talking about the real deal buddy....
The treat I've been coveting all summer when I longed to camp...
The treat that will surely tickle my tastebuds even more this fall...
The one and only...

S'MORES

Big Man will always be my OG Chocolate Lovah but a S'More inches in a very close second.
Whoever decided that a Hershey bar, marshmallow, and honey graham cracker should have a ménage and make a gooey, tasty baby is a genius in my eyes.

My waistline may not a thankful but I think R. Kelly sums up my feelings best...
'My minds telling me no, but my body, my body telling me yessssssssssss'

Now please excuse me while I go lick the chocolate off the rest of the plate.
Kidding.
Ok, not really.
Maybe.
Fine, eff you. Don't judge me.
: )

Oh and bee tee dubs, to all you beezies who want to regulate and say that Fall isn't till the 22nd....guess this Little Woman still got another crossed off her Summer Bucket List.
BOOM!!!!

Taking Summer Like A Boss.

I've seen two of my favorite blogs girls J and Emily doing this so I thought I would hop on the bandwagon and share my Summer Bucket List with y'all.

My 101 in 1001 has come and gone and I've started working on a brand spankin' new bucket list of sorts but until I get that all figured out, we'll take things season by season. So without further adieu...

Camping: I haven't been camping in the longest time and I want to get in touch with the outdoorsy gal in me again. I think the last time I was in the woods overnight was for some sort of booze party of my youth. It's been too long, my dears, too long.

Make A Trifle: My baking mojo goes right out the door when summer starts to roll in.
Let's be honest, who wants to be stuck in a hot kitchen when it is 100 and some degrees outside. So since the hubster is still going to be craving sweet treats, this is the next best thing.

Cruise: Booked and ready to go.
Only 33 days days until we set sail and make sexy time on the high seas.
C'mon it's our honeymoon...what do you think we'll be doing?!?

Get Contacts: I will NOT be sporting glasses on this honeymoon....that will not happen.
Need to get to the eye doctor stat and get these puppies checked out.

Go Kayaking: We want the majority of our honeymoon to have no agenda and for us to relax and just unwind. Besides a visit with Big Man's fam while were in St. Thomas, we did decide on one excursion we wanted to do and that is to kayak in Grand Turk. I'm excited since this is something BM and I wanted to do for awhile.

Visit New York City (again): Booked and ready to go too.
My sister and I (and possibly my cousin) will be hitting up the Big Apple so that I can attend my first ever blog conference....BlogHer'12. Excited would be an understatement. I can't wait to meet fab bloggers and learn a few more tips and tricks. If your going and want to meet up, give your girl a holla.

Pack Up House: We will be moving September 1st so this summer will consist of me decluttering and packing up the house in prep for our move two doors down. I can't wait to get in and get started already.

Lots of Drinks On Patio: This is a no brainer....what is summer without a nice cold beer, glass of wine, or margarita while enjoying the summer nights on the patio. Hell I might even be a little crazy and wake up with some mimosas. Yes and please.

Build A Sandcastle: I am a kid at heart and yes I will be creating sandcastles at all the beaches I will be visiting this summer. Probably not as good as these ones....but we'll see what my little pail and shovel can do.  : )

Make Smores: What would summer be without some chocolate burnt to a crisp treats?!?

Make Vodka Gummi Bears: And really how can you say no to tasty little gummi bears submerged in liquor....I know I can't : )

***
And yes I do realize most of my things revolve around our honeymoon some way or another but it is the only thing on my mind. I've been waiting years for this trip and now that it is right around the corner, I can't control myself.

What do you have planned for the summer?!?
Anything excited???

Friday Letters

Dear Work, Please make up your mind about our schedule so I can start planning our move. This back and forth nonsense is for the birds, homey.  Dear Little Home, Can you organize and pack yourself? Holiday bins need to be organized and closets upon closets need to be decluttered and cleaned out.and I am procrastinating something fierce.  Dear HIMYM Season Finale, I loved you. That is all. #TeamRobin  Edited to add: kinda sad all the shows are off now...guess it means I need to get my fat ass off the couch and get out there and exercise. Dear Freaks and Geeks, I puffy heart you and I'm still super sad that they canceled you after barely one season. I am now rewatching you. Oh young creepy Jason Segal and James Franco. Be still my heart. Dear May,  How the hell are we almost to the middle of you already?!?  I'm not complaining since I'll be one month closer to vacation but wow, where is this year going? Dear Self, Stop being so melodramatic and toughen the eff up. Being a sissy la la doesn't look good on you.

Peace out Girl Scouts!

Making Lists Like A Boss.

Since finding out about all the possible time off I may have from my job, my mind has been on overdrive of the things I could get accomplished in that time. I had full intentions of breaking these down into weekend projects over the course of the next few months, in hopes to get everything accomplished by our vacation, but with this time off soon, what better time than the present??

I've been scribbling here and there in my planner trying to decide which days to accomplish what and since I'm more of a morning person, I am going to try to hit the ground running and bust out as much of the organizing as I can at once.

Want a look at what I plan to do?!?

...So I may have a little time on my hands...

And yes, I did put 'Her Blog' so I could continue with the 'H' theme.

Anywho....that is what it looks like.

My main priorities during my time off we'll be to get my house clean and organized, get healthy and stay healthy (an ongoing battle) and to work on my blog and photography skills. I've been dying to get out and explore different areas and to learn how to take better pictures and now I am going to take the time to do it.

I'm ambitious, but I'm hoping to knock all these off before our vacation, wish me luck.

Wakey Wakey Sunshine...

Waking up on Friday morning, this was the sight I saw from my back patio as I went to leave the dog out.

On my day off you would think that I would sleep in and try to catch as many zzz's as I can but with my work schedule, I am always up at the ass crack of dawn, therefore I was up at 6:30am and got to witness the sun coming up.

I'm loving spring (or whatever you call this) but what I am enjoying most is that it is lighter longer and that in itself is really re-energizing me lately. You know what I'm talking about....seasonal depression, ring a bell?!?
I don't know about you ladies but when the winter rolls into Pennsylvania and I'm stuck in the house or at my job 90% of the time without seeing a drop of sunshine, it brings me down.

But all that is changing.

The sun is showing it's presence earlier and is staying around later and I'm lovinnnngg it.
It's 7:03 p.m. as I type and there is still a little speck of daylight out there.

This situation opens alot more opportunities for adventures, cook outs, and in general just enjoying time together and the outdoors. I'm beginning to think the time off from work may not be a bad thing after all. In true to me fashion, I'm going to start a little list of what I want to accomplish.

Carpe diem.

♥
*share the list when I complete it

And You Thought I Was Kidding...

Remember on Friday when I posted this little gem of what I had planned for 2012???
Yeah, I am pretty ambitious....

Well I thought I would give a little more detail into what I had envisioned in hopes to keep myself more accountable. I've gave myself too many excuses but this year I need to take the bull by the horns and make the most out of my life and my health.

Here goes...

More Laughter
I'm a generally happy person but I believe nobody can ever have a shortage of laughter in their lives. Amirite? What I hope for in 2012 is too not sweat so much of the small stuff and to try to laugh as much as possible. Sounds kinda general and ehhhh right. Well I also wanted to share the giggles with you and share some funny stories or pins from time to time to brighten up our days. We all have our shitty days and that's fine but lets bring more funnies and less dramz this year : )

More Organization
Ahhh...I am a organization nut. I love reading anything that has to do with it and dream of the day when I have a pretty little dream home with every little item having its own little labeled home. For some of the long time readers you might remember a little series I had called Martha Mondays. I loved doing that but then feared Martha's legal wrath, so I stopped. This year though I want to clean up our Little Home and plan on sharing the journey with you. This may not be for all of you but this is something I am passionate about and is actually what LWLH began as.

More Trips
'Vacation all I ever wanted...Vacation, happy to get away!'
2011 brought  two awesome trips in the ways of our mini moon in Atlantic City and our Christmas New York trip but 2012 is gearing up to be even better. This year Big Man and I are looking forward to our 'big honeymoon' cruise to the Caribbean  and hopefully another trip to New York along with mini adventures here in Pennsylvania. So this is a PSA letting you know this little lady is going to need some tips and advice in the coming months.

More Money
I'm hoping that the words of Biggie don't ring true of Mo' Money Mo' Problems because Big Man and I plan on stacking some cash this year and plumping up our savings. With the help of two of my favorite bloggers Laura and Rachel and Mr. Dave Ramsey himself, we are going to snowball the shizz out of our debt and make this year the year we are financially * figuratively* free. We have big plans for 2012 and we need some moo-lah to do so, so wish us luck.

More Healthy Habits
I'm just going to say it...I'm a chubber
And don't try to tell me any different. This picture doesn't lie in telling me that I got some jelly round the belly (along with other places) that needs to be evicted asap. I'm disgusted that I lost weight last year but slipped into the same unhealthy habits and am now back at square one. I not only want a nice little figure to show off on our honeymoon but also to be in a more healthy state for what we hope for after the honeymoon ; )  Healthy eating and exercise...here I come bishes!!!

Another thing on that agenda, is to quit smoking.
Yuck, I know...but I need to butt this habit this year.

More Love
I want to show more love not only in real life but also in the blog world this year. So many women  have given  me inspiration and it is time to pay it forward. Stay tuned for the lovefest at LWLH!! : )

More Pictures
With my newest camera love, I want to get out there and learn how to use it more and learn all the tricks and tips for it. So to make myself more proactive and accountable I decided to link up with some other girls and do...
I'm excited to undertake this challenge and to get out and get good quality pictures. I won't be posting the picture everyday because I know I would forget about it and sometimes I already have enough pictures in one post, so I will be doing a weekly wrap up showing my photos from the week on most likely Saturdays.

So there it is.
I will give more information as I post about each of these things but this is the overview of what I hope for, for the new year.

What are your plans for the New Year?!?

12.29.2011

Farewell 2011...

It is the time in blogger land when we all take to the posts and remember the highlights of each month in the year past. This is a fun time because for the couple of blogs that I just began following this year it is the highlight reel of all the fun things I've missed.

Since your here, I guess you would like to know what my highlights were.

Besides the birth of my beautiful niece in February, alot of our year was preoccupied with the planning of this amazing day...
It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine as many times I thought I was going to have a mental breakdown in picking invites, dealing with vendors, and just the overall pressure of planning a wedding but I wouldn't change a single moment leading up to that day.

The beginning of 2011 may have been a little rocky with all the planning going on I will look fondly back on 2011 as the year that I became a wife and committed my life to creating a healthy and happy home with my new sexy husband!

After the nuptials we were able to take a mini-moon to Atlantic City...
Though it was a short weekend trip it was just what we needed after the wedding.

Another exciting thing that happened this year was that I was finally able to go first shift at my job.
This was a big deal because working my old second shift hours (4pm-2am) was taxing on not only myself but my relationship with Big Man and my family and friends. Though I am not completely satisfied at my job, I am thankful I have a job and that I am on a shift now that lets me enjoy my life a little more.

As many of you have seen from the last couple posts, we also celebrated our first married Christmas and enjoyed hosting Christmas for the first time.

This year, with all of its triumphs and tribulations has been an amazing year but I look forward though to this next year and for the many exciting things that will come our way.

What have you enjoyed over this last year?!?

A List of Holiday Lists..

It's November and to me that means stocking up for the two most celebrated holidays of the year....

1. Thanksgiving
2. Christmas

This week I have been racking my brain coming up with lists of all the things that need to get bought and made over the following weeks. For me, this is crunch time into setting the holiday wheels in motion. Unlike years past, I am trying to go after this years holidays with a bit more organization in hopes for a little more peace come December instead of running around like a crazy person like I've done for the last couple years.
Want to take a look and what's happening in this little noggin' and what is gracing the pages of my life planner these days...

What To Eat For Thanksgiving
We usually go down to my Nan's house for Thanksgiving but her and my parents and brother will be heading out to Pittsburgh to see my 105 year old aunt. That leaves Big Man and I to fend for ourselves while making a traditional meal but for just two people.

Black Friday Shopping
Yes, I am one of the crazy people who goes out into the madness willingly to score cheap towels and half off electronics. I don't have any must have item but I am keeping up to date with the sites that share the Black Friday loot and seeing what I can score for myself.

Baked Goods for the Holidays
Winter is one of my favorite times to start baking and whipping up holiday treats for friends and family but on top of that this year, we will be hosting Christmas at our house. Big Man will be taking care of most of the cooking aspect while I will be working on baked goods. I am scouring Pinterest now and trying to narrow down the treats I will make for the day. Along with that, I am trying to buy most of the ingredients now while they are on sale.

F.Y. I....If your big on baking for the holidays or in general, now is the time to buy while everything is on sale. I read in a magazine last year that November is the prime time to stock up on such things before they go back up to their regular prices in December.

Cooking for the Holidays
Big Man is the chef so I'm leaving this in his hands, though I would like to be privy to the menu since he doesn't eat pork.

Christmas Presents
I'm making my lists of what to buy everyone along with where and if I can find any discount codes. I already have the kids toys along with a present for my sister and Dad but I am still working on the rest of the gang. Big Man is the hardest, since he doesn't tell me till the last minute what he likes, but I do have some ideas this year.

and last but not least....

A Holiday Budget
To get all of these things accomplished without spending an assload of money, I am setting up budgets for each of the items to allocate where and how much I will spend. It's easy to get caught up in the holiday hoopla  but this little lady doesn't want to be broke come New Year's.

Have you started planning for the holidays yet?!?
What is on your lists??

{Don't forget to sign up for the Christmas Extravaganza here!!!}

Heaven In A Little Blue Box...

No, not Tiffany's and ok, maybe I took it a little far with comparing it to heaven but anyone who ordered and received this beauty
Know that it is pretty effin' awesome!!!

I am a little behind the times with posting about my planner but better late than never. Like you might have saw before, Erin packages all her planners in this cute tissue paper with little notes and coupons attached...
Besides the actual planners, you can tell that they put alot of love and time into their products and it shows through small things like that : )

I saw that many bloggers got the Candy Lace design but I'm a lover of hearts, so hearts it was...
I wish I could show you the cute personalization but unfortunetly our last name is not something I care to share on the interwebs...but cute right?....I love this design and love all the colors that she incorporated.

Fast forwarding since you don't need a complete play by play, let's look at the rest of this pretty...
The cute inside sleeve

Monthly tabs
Oh these are glorious, all these pretty little fingers need to do is find the month and BAM! there I go : )

Cute inspirational quotes throughout

A monthly special dates....I need to get at this and starting writing some shizz in...

And if I ran out of room and needed more...
Oh hello, awesomely cute blank pages just begging to be written in.

And an important numbers page because you know my cleaning service and lawn people live in my house (*coughBigMancough*) but I might need to contact them and there is a page for that so I might use it ;)

Oh and did I mention stickers...and lots of them.
There are things in here that I probably won't use but I like the idea of having them. I will for sure be using the massage ones. Big Man is your reading this, yes I will RIGHT?!?

It also has a folder in the back to keep loose papers as well as a zip lock bag to contain other random loose items. Erin included free little tags that also were personalized as well as those cute 'Let's get together' cards.

I absolutely love this thing and with only paying half the price this was def. a steal. This will def. be a yearly splurge for me considering that once you have this there is really no going back. : )
Did you order the EC planner?!?
What do you think of it?!?

101 That I'm Getting Done

I've had my 101 in 1001 list since 2009....

It seems like such a long time ago but when I look at my list, it feels like there is never enough time to get it done.   At the beginning I kicked ass at it but I've lately been slacking and with only till October to finish it, I am rushing to get some of it knocked off the list.

Here's what I'm trying to get done as of right now:

#5- Go To A Drive In Movie
Big Man and I have wanted to do this for awhile and luckily they opened a new one in our area this past weekend. I'm excited to go and hope that after the nuptials we'll have a chance.

#15- Go To Dorney Park
We've been meaning to go to the amusement parks all summer and like I said earlier money has been a little strapped. I know for a fact that we WILL go before the end of the season, even if it's the death of me.

#24- Visit New York City
If all goes well, I will be meeting up with my girlfriend in the city the Thursday after the wedding to hang out and catch up. Get togethers are hard since I'm in Pennsylvania and she's in Georgia, so we're going to try to take advantage of our closeness during this time and having a little girl's getaway.

#32- Get A Safety Deposit Box
I for realz need this. I am making sure it is fireproof and all that jazz so all my important documents don't get r destroyed, God forbid anything ever happens to our house.

#33- Get Married
This shizz best be going down in less than 2 weeks, otherwise I will hunt Big Man down and slice him. Am I joking?!? I guess we'll find out : )

#68- Read Tuesdays With Morrie
I'm reading it right now, via the Kindle on my phone while I'm at work. I loved 'The Five People You Meet In Heaven', so I'm hoping I enjoy this one just as much.

There is plenty more on there that I would like to get done before my October deadline but I have also been contemplating starting a new list for right after my wedding and including some previous goals from this list as well as a new fresh set of goals.

The wedding will be a 'new beginning' per se...so why not reevaluate and refresh some of my goals.

What do you think?!?
Do you have a 101 list?
30 by 30?

Erin, Your Killing Me...

Yes, I'm talking to Erin Condren and your unbelievably adorable, fanfreakintastically functional, blog world obsessed  Life Planners.

My OCD has kicked into high gear waiting for this planner to arrive. If you checked my browser history you would see atleast hourly stalking of my account waiting for the internet and Erin Gods to click in the words shipped into my order history and finally on Sunday, they magically appeared!

If my calculations are correct, this beauty should be arriving at the latest on Friday...

It may seem pretty lame to some people that I am this excited about a planner, but do you know how hard it is to find a good and functional planner and on top of that find codes (shoutout to Becky) that allow you to purchase this awesomeness at more than half off.

This thing has it all and I plan on fully utilizing all it's tools and the setup of the days, weeks, and months. Starting our new married life soon, I want to stay organized and be on top of everything and I have a feeling this little sucker is going to do wonders in helping me along.

Here's a look at what me and my new bff have in store...
- Scheduling appointments
- Organizing bill paying schedule
- Tracking fitness and exercise
-Work schedules
- Daily to-do/chore list
- Goals for the week
- Keeping track of holidays plans/shindig
- Finally remembering everyone's birthday

Ahhh, be still my heart....♥

And if you thought my organizing/planning insanity ended there, you are very wrong, my friends...
Ooooooh yeah, Mama will be kicking it 80's style while color coding her pretty new planner!

Obsessive planner, say whattttt?!!?

Totally Random Tuesday Tidbits

With only 2 more days till I'm officially on vacation, my mind is a big pile of mush and I'm pretty sure I caught some form of the -itis...and instead of a well thought out post, today I bring to you

Tuesday Tidbits

- I had an awesome first day of first shift yesterday. I had it built up in my mind to be more stressful and difficult then it actually was so I was pleasantly surprised when I caught on and learned rather quickly. I felt like I should have been on a magic carpet singing 'A Whole New World' or something...haha  : )

- I also love that I get off at 4 p.m. instead of 2 a.m. now....can I get a woot! woot!

- I have 2 weeks vacation coming up that I'm excited about but it sucks that I have to go through unemployment to get one of my weeks paid...well technically it will be a waiting week, but it will work out for when we have off over Christmas.

- I'm planning out a to-do list so I can knock out some major chores while I'm off. Some that include getting deep and dirty into that icky basement of mine.

- Big Man and I had a fabulous weekend...
Friday- hung out with family, went to hibachi, met up with friends for drinks, and then hit up the boobie bar (yup, no shame in my game, judge if you will)
Saturday- lounged in during the morning, went to see Bad Teacher, browsed around Wally World
Sunday- relaxed during the morning and then hit up the lake to go paddle boating....
How cute is this face?!?
I was unsure about it at first but it ended up being pretty fun. It also helped that after the awesome exercise I got treated to some of this...
I got chocolate chip cookie dough and Big Man got chocolate...def. hit the spot.

- I want to start taking more pictures with my regular digital camera again instead of just my phone camera. Though my phone takes some pretty decent pics, I would like to get back in the groove of my regular camera.

- I hate Ben on The Secret Life Of An American Teenager....he's such a douche.

- I need to stop getting this invested into teenage dramas.

Well loves, that's about it....any tidbits you'd like to get off your chest?!? : )

Summertime In The Keystone State...

First, let's start off with how it just hopped straight from winter into summer here.

Seriously what the hell?!? We had winter and cold temps, then a couple days of crappy rain, hail, and possible tornadoes and now it's in the mid 80's and hot as hell outside!

Hello Summertime, come on in!!!

I've seen this around the blogs and thought I'd participate in the 'things I'd like to do this summer..'. So without further ado, these are the the things I would hopefully like to do over the summer.

Hit Up The Amusements Parks
Now that Memorial Day has past all the theme parks are open for the summer season. One of my favorite parks in our area is Hershey Park. Besides being surrounded with chocolate (my otha lovah!) it has awesome roller coasters, a waterpark, and a zoo. All my favorite things all in one area. I also would like to hit up Dorney Park and of course Knoebel's.

Finish Planning The Wedding
I still have a couple loose ends to tie up but I obviously want to spend a majority of my summer vacation finishing up and making sure all things wedding are set in stone.

Visit New York
Since Big Man and I couldn't make it during the Christmas season, I'm hoping we can make it some time over the summer to see the city and all the touristy stuff, of course.

Visit The Beach
Since we left Florida, I have been craving the beach, badly!!! I don't care what beach we go to, but I need to feel sand in my feet and ocean air in my nostrils. : )

Get Married
Point. Blank. Period!

Now that summer is pretty much here...what do you ladies have planned for this summer?!?
Anything exciting!?! : )

11.24.2010

Thankful Thu...err Wednesday!

I've seen this around the blogs for the past couple weeks but in my fashion I am arriving late to the party and  sharing my blessing the day before the holiday. I have had many trials and tribulations but I can honestly say I have led a very blessed life so far and have many things to be thankful for, which include these:

 Big Man
He stepped into my life a little over 4 years ago and my life has been incredibly changed ever since. He is my rock and I know that during anything he will always have my back. I'm thankful everyday that God has brought him into my life and has allowed me to find my other half.

A Wonderful Mother and Family
Words can not even describe what an amazing mother I have. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I have been blessed with a mother who will not only support me when I'm right but talk me through when I am wrong. If BM is my rock then she is my mountain, she is my biggest supporter and my best friend.

My father is just as amazing and is always there to offer advice and love as is my sisters and my brother. I have so many different relationships with each and I value them all. I love that I have two older sister and that I can always look to them for advice and encouragement and my brother is always my source of entertainment. I have a large family and could go on for days but I am so thankful that I have such a huge support system.

Big Man's Family
I have been blessed to have such an amazing future mother in law and those girls are my other sisters. FMIL and her family have extended  and opened me into their family arms wide open and accepting. Though me and Big Man come from different walks of life and were raised in not only different cultures but different regions of the U.S...(he an island boy, me a country girl) it has never interfered in any of our relationships, if anything they are entertained by my 'white girl antics' :)

Awesome Friends
I have been lucky enough to not have just one group of good friends but two....the first pic is of my loves from Florida and the second are my girls from Pennsylvania. There is a million stories I can share of each but both groups have added to my life in so many wonderful ways!

My Godson G
My heart and baby....Aunt LW loves him more than he'll ever know....this kid keeps me on my toes and keeps me going. I hope when I have a child they are just as bright and loving as this little guy.

Mia
My fur baby and the light of her mama's life...I never knew how much having a dog could change your life and make you love an animal so much but me is not just an pet but a family member and baby to me!

Random McRandomness....

I don't know what's going on with me lately but I can't sit down and right a good post for the life of me. Maybe it's because I have alot of stuff on my head right now so I am coming to you ladies to unload a little in the hopes of getting a clearer mind and to release the ramblings from within.

1. We still haven't moved yet. We should be in by November 1st but there is still some t's to cross and i's to dot yet before anything gets underway. I'm excited to move but patience is not one of my virtues and it is killing me having to wait. I just want to get in there and decorate and see all my stuff that has been packed away since we moved here.

2. Speaking of decorating...we found OUR couches!! The couches that both Big Man and I adored but had to sell before we left Florida. While browsing around Big Lots the other day we stumbled upon them and instantly fell in love again, plus they were way cheaper up here. We're going to hold off on the couches for now since were getting beautifully free furniture from my sister but we are going to act like grown folks and actually get a head and baseboard and frame for our bed....
This is it, I love it and can't wait to get adorable new bedding as well : )

3. I really am sucking ass at planning this wedding. I need to get my head out of my ass and really get it in gear. Money is a number one concern right now and BM and I are trying to finish this whole move so we can focus more on the wedding.

4. It is really straining working a different schedule then Big Man. He works 1st shift Saturday, Sunday, Monday and I work 2nd Monday thru Thursday and lately on Friday overtime. We both feel like we never see each other anymore. I miss my boobie bear but he's asleep wayy earlier while I'm up till 4am like a night owl.

5. Mia needs to be on a diet, my little martian head has gotten a tad bit overweight and I'm starting to become worried. She's a tiny dog and with that extra weight she's carrying, that can not be good for her little heart or body. Since living with my parents, they have a husky/pit bull named Jess and when no one is looking Mia will go and eat the rest of Jess' food. I'm hoping that adding some more walks to our agenda and living by ourselves again will fix this problem....any suggestions??

6. Big Man shaved his beard....HALLELUJAH...this will have a full post of it's own soon enough!

7. We have cable again at my parent's house...thankyoujeebus...I have been catching up on some Real Housewives, Teen Mom, and everything else under the sun. I'm a little behind on the show boat but I want to add my two cents as well:

Teen Mom: Totally heart Caitlyn and Tyler and them meeting up with Carly and the way she would look and hug on them melt my heart, I love them two as a couple. I like Maci too...wonder what's going to happen with that Kyle kid. Farrah is a little too emotional and dramatic for my liking but I think she stepped up more this season as a mother and provider for Sophia and last and certainly least Amber. Ughhhhh I can't stand that girl, somebody please take her off television and give that baby somewhere safe to stay. I fear for the home that that child has to grow up in.

Real Housewives: I miss my OC and NYC gals but has anyone seen the Beverly Hills one?! It is like fake bitches central. Not just there faces and bodies but as mothers too. Did you see Kelsey Grammer's wife/ex wife Camille? First, she has 4 (yes 4!) nannies for 2 children, wtf? and also used a surrogate for both as to not mess up her body....seriously guys, I can't make up this shit. I don't know if I could hop aboard this plastic plane ride.

8. It's cold outside but hot as hell in this house. I love a warm house but I feel like I could be walking around nakey in this piece with how warm it is. I better not complain though, in a couple months I'll be begging to sit in front of this fire.

9. I still have yet to step on a scale to see how much weight I loss. On one hand I'm excited because I can def. feel the difference and more lighter but on the other hand I'm scared that the number won't show what I hope it will....hmmm, maybe I'll procrastinate a little more.

10. I saw Santa yesterday!! And yes, I might have been a tad more excited and jumped for joy a little higher than the little kids did.You know me and Christmas and seeing that big jolly guy in his red suit made me happier than a fat kid with a sheet cake. : ) I am a little worried though that with Christmas already coming out in full force (have you seen the stores, goodbye orange and black, hello red and green) that I'll be over everything by December......haha just kidding...really c'mon guys, let's remember who were talking about! : )

That's all, I think I feel better now....thanks ladies : )
